WH Administrators Must Pay $29 Million Over Mishandled Claims

The Labor Department won its lawsuit accusing Maryland-based WH Administrators Inc. and its two top officers of mishandling employer health plans and failing to pay more than $26 million in covered claims.

Judge Richard D. Bennett of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland awarded summary judgment to the Labor Department Thursday in its lawsuit accusing the defendants of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
