Western & Southern Financial Group LLC defeated a lawsuit by a longtime employee who said she was wrongfully terminated two days before she requested to begin receiving her pension benefits.

The worker described the company’s decision to fire her for purported misconduct as “pretextual and fabricated,” but she didn’t offer specific facts showing the company acted with an intent to deprive her of benefits, Judge Jeffery P.
