Waters Corp. Finalizes $800,000 Settlement in 401(k) Fee Suit

Waters Corp. received final court approval for an $800,000 class settlement, resolving litigation by workers who said the water testing equipment manufacturer mismanaged its retirement plan through high fees and underperforming target date funds.

The agreement will benefit about 12,000 people who were covered by the Waters plan since July 2017. It represents more than 13% of the workers’ settlement demand, according to their settlement motion.
