UPS Negotiates Class Settlement in Paid Military Leave Lawsuit

United Parcel Service Inc. plans to settle a class action claiming it wrongly denies paid leave to employees who serve in the military.

The parties are finalizing their settlement agreement and plan to submit it for court approval by late March, they told Judge Thomas O. Rice in a joint status report. The report, filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
