Support for State Pharmacy Benefit Laws Floods SCOTUS (Correct)

The U.S. Supreme Court received a flurry of briefs from health industry players and lawmakers who say the court should preserve states’ ability to rein in the harmful practices of pharmacy benefit managers like Express Scripts, CVS/Caremark, and OptumRX.

The court is being urged to revive an Arkansas law that’s aimed at blocking PBMs from underpaying pharmacies for generic drugs.
