Sun Country Settles Over Military Leave Retirement Contributions

Sun Country Inc. agreed to settle a proposed class action by pilots who say the airline wrongly denies retirement plan contributions to employees who take leave to serve in the military.

The parties reached an agreement during a settlement conference with Magistrate Judge Elsa M. Bullard of the US District Court for the District of Minnesota, according to an electronic entry on the court’s docket. The Thursday docket entry didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
