Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares’ Compensation Jumps 57% in 2023

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares was awarded a pay package worth €23.5 million ($25.4 million), up from €14.9 million in 2022, the company said in a securities filing Thursday.

  • CEO’s total 2023 compensation package, including fringe benefits and value of non-vested equity grants, was €36.5 million
  • Tavares’ compensation would have declined versus 2022 if not for a new incentive award worth €10 million tied to meeting electrification and software goals
  • 2023 was the first year Tavares reached target goals under the program, the Transformation Incentive
