Skip Bargaining Contract Exit Suit, Pension Fund Tells Justices

A lawsuit between a Teamsters pension fund and two trucking logistics companies over the companies’ contribution obligations is a “narrow” contract dispute that doesn’t warrant US Supreme Court review, the fund said in a new brief.

The Central States, Southeast & Southwest Areas Pension Fund on Wednesday advised the justices to deny a petition filed by Transervice Logistics Inc. and Zenith Logistics Inc.
