Shkreli Co-Conspirator Denied High Court Look at 401(k) Dispute

A lawyer convicted of conspiring with Martin Shkreli to commit securities fraud failed to convince the US Supreme Court to hear his case seeking to shield portions of his retirement accounts from a $10.4 million restitution order.

Evan Greebel, a former attorney for Retrophin Inc. who was convicted in 2017 of conspiring with Shkreli to defraud the company’s investors, wanted the Supreme Court to review a 2022 decision in which the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled that $921,000 of his 401(k) account is subject to garnishment.
