SeaWorld 401(k) Fee Suit Certified as 10,000-Person Class Action

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Inc. must face a certified class of more than 10,000 people in a lawsuit challenging the fees and investment options in the company’s 401(k) plan.

SeaWorld objected to having the case certified as a class action, saying that some people benefited from the challenged plan fee structure. Judge Robert S. Huie disagreed Wednesday, saying that at least one named plaintiff paid fees alleged to be unreasonable.
