Santé Hedge Fund Worker Accepts Jury Verdict Cut Over Bonuses

A former Santé Ventures marketing director who twice went to trial in her lawsuit seeking bonus payments agreed to have her $1.4 million jury verdict cut by $200,000 instead of preparing for a third trial.

The director’s decision, filed on Nov. 4, responded to an October order in which Judge Lewis J. Liman gave her the option of accepting a reduced verdict or conducting another trial on the question of damages.

According to Liman’s order, the trial evidence supported a maximum award of $1.2 million, representing two separate bonuses of $750,000 each, along with a $300,000 reduction to account for ...
