Thor Industries Inc. is facing a lawsuit claiming the recreational vehicle maker improperly allowed an employee benefit policy to lapse by failing to pay required premiums, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in the Northern District of Indiana.

Phylicia Scott, a cabinetry carpenter at a Thor Motor Coach plant in Elkhart, Ind., says she filed claims for benefits under the company’s accident and critical illness insurance policy in 2022, after her son and husband suffered accidental injuries.
