R.R. Donnelley, Ex-Workers Strike Class Deal in 401(k) Fee Suit

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc. announced plans to settle a class action by former employees who say the communications and printing firm allowed its 401(k) plan to pay excessive administrative fees.

The parties reached a class-wide agreement after an all-day mediation session and plan to submit the deal for court approval by Nov. 22, according to a joint status report filed Oct. 13 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
