R.R. Donnelley Approved for $1.2 Million 401(k) Fee Settlement

R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. workers’ class settlement of nearly $1.2 million received final court approval, resolving a lawsuit saying the communications and printing firm allowed its 401(k) plan to pay excessive administrative fees.

The agreement is expected to benefit more than 50,000 people covered by R.R. Donnelley’s 401(k) plan since 2014. It represents about 17% of the plan participants’ estimated losses, according to the settlement motion.
