Princeton Trustees, Aetna See Health Plan Clawback Suit Advance

A lawsuit accusing Princeton University trustees and Aetna Life Insurance Co. of wrongly clawing back benefits paid under the Princeton health plan is moving forward after a Pennsylvania federal judge trimmed more than half of the proposed class action’s claims.

Andre Corbitt can seek benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and pursue fiduciary breach claims under the statute, Judge Cynthia M. Rufe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania held Wednesday.
