Premiere Global Inks Class Settlement in Severance Pay Lawsuit

Virtual conferencing company Premiere Global Services Inc. will pay $125,113 to settle a class action saying it wrongly failed to pay severance to workers terminated in a series of 2021 layoffs.

The deal is slated to benefit about 43 former employees who weren’t paid promised severance benefits in connection with layoffs conducted between March and August of 2021. Employees’ payments under the settlement agreement will vary between $28 and $9,727 based on the amount of severance they’ve already received, according to a settlement motion filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
