PPL Corp. Retirement Plan Class Action Advances Toward Trial

PPL Corp. workers scored a court order allowing them to go to trial on claims challenging the Northern Trust target date funds offered by the publicly traded utility company’s retirement plans.

Judge Mia R. Perez denied the company’s request to resolve the class action without a trial in a one-page order docketed Dec. 13 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
