Paramount Global mismanages its $6.1 billion 401(k) plan by mishandling the forfeited contributions of departing workers and continuing to offer an underperforming stable value fund, a former employee alleged in a federal lawsuit.

The proposed class action says Paramount employees lost out on retirement savings because of the company’s decision to offer a stable value fund that produced subpar returns while carrying unnecessary risk.
