P&G Retiree’s Pension Cut Suit Advances After International Move

A retired Procter & Gamble Co. employee who began his career in the United Kingdom is moving forward with a federal lawsuit claiming the company didn’t properly disclose how pension changes adopted after he transferred to Ohio would negatively affect his benefits.

P&G sought to dismiss James Crabbe’s claim of fiduciary breach under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, arguing it was a “repackaged” claim for wrongfully denied benefits under the statute.
