OPM Semiannual Regulatory Agenda Includes Items on SES, Phased Retirement

The Office of Personnel Management issued its semiannual regulatory agenda Nov. 26, including references to a wide range of proposed and final rules.

Among the agenda items is a proposed rule, scheduled for June 2014, that would change the current regulations governing the certification of agency performance management systems for members of the Senior Executive Service.

In addition, the OPM said it intends to issue a final rule in January 2014 implementing the federal government’s “phased retirement” rule for agency workers who wish to switch to part-time employment prior to retiring. The OPM issued a proposed phased retirement rule in ...
