NYU Retirement Plan Lawsuit Heads to Trial

More than 20,000 current and former New York University employees are heading to trial in their lawsuit challenging the investment funds and fees associated with the school’s retirement plans.

A federal judge on Feb. 22 denied NYU’s request to resolve the lawsuit at the summary judgment stage, saying the remaining issues in the case involve factual questions that can’t be resolved without a trial. The case is scheduled to go to trial in April.
