Northwestern University asked a federal judge to dismiss a proposed class action challenging the structure of its employee health plan, saying the workers who chose the “premium” tier of benefits got what they were promised.
Northwestern told Judge Jeremy C. Daniel the lawsuit should be thrown out because the plaintiffs weren’t harmed and they didn’t show a violation of plan terms or mismanagement of plan assets, according to the motion filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
