Northwell Health Inc. struck a deal to settle a lawsuit brought by workers who say the New York-based health-care provider’s retirement plan is plagued by high administrative fees and underperforming funds.
The parties reached an agreement to settle the dispute on a class-wide basis and plan to file paperwork seeking court approval for the deal by July 16, according to a letter submitted Wednesday to the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. The letter didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
