Northeastern University plans to settle a proposed class action by workers challenging their retirement plan’s fees and investment options.
The parties reached an agreement after a full-day mediation session and plan to file paperwork for court approval by Oct. 15, they told Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton. Their three-page status report, filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
