New York Times, Pension Fund Agree to End Closely-Watched Appeal

The New York Times Co. and a news industry pension plan are dropping their dispute over how much the Times owes in pension liability, the parties told the Second Circuit.

The stipulation to end the case comes four months after the appeals court heard arguments from the parties. The parties didn’t provide details about how they resolved the dispute.
