Nemours Foundation Retirement Fee Lawsuit Advances in Florida

Pediatric health system Nemours Foundation must face a proposed class action saying its $1 billion retirement plan is plagued by excessive administrative fees, a federal court said.

Judge Brian J. Davis on Wednesday adopted the recommendation of a federal magistrate judge, who said the dispute turned on factual questions that would be better resolved after the parties engage in discovery. Davis’ three-page order, issued in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, didn’t include a written analysis of the case.
