Musk, Tesla Investor to Discuss Putting Pay Decision on Hold (1)

Billionaire Elon Musk and the Tesla Inc. investor who successfully challenged the chief executive officer’s $56 billion pay package will discuss asking the judge who ruled against Musk to put her decision on hold.

Greg Varallo, the lawyer for Tesla shareholder Richard Tornetta, said Wednesday in a letter that lawyers for both sides have agreed to try to hammer out an agreement on the terms of the final judgment. Varallo said they would also discuss requesting Delaware Chancery Court Judge Kathaleen St. J. McCormick stay her decision if Musk appeals.
