MLB settled with a former executive vice president who said he was improperly denied nearly $6 million in retirement benefits, according to a federal court order dismissing the dispute.
The parties advised Judge Margaret M. Garnett that they’d reached a settlement in principle, Garnett said in an order docketed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. Her order, which dismisses the case and deems any pending motions moot, didn’t include details about the terms of the agreement.
