Mitre Gets Final Nod for $3.4 Million Retirement Fee Settlement

Mitre Corp.'s $3.4 million settlement with a class of 12,000 workers received final court approval, resolving allegations that the nonprofit research and development organization’s retirement plan charged excessive fees and offered pricey funds.

The deal is expected to provide people who participated in two Mitre retirement plans since June 2016 with between 49% and 57% of their total estimated damages in the case, according to the settlement motion.
