MetLife Workers Want Class of 27,000 in In-House 401(k) Fund Row

Participants in MetLife Group Inc.'s $7.3 billion 401(k) plan asked a Manhattan federal judge to certify a class of more than 27,000 people in their lawsuit challenging the plan’s affiliated funds.

The participants seek a class of everyone who held MetLife index funds in the company’s 401(k) plan since July 2015, excluding those with responsibility over plan administration or investments.
