MetLife Again Beats Disability Suit After Appeals Court Revival

A Continental Automotive Inc. employee lost his suit against Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in which he sought disability benefits for multiple health conditions, despite previously securing a Fourth Circuit decision giving him another chance to prove his case.

The employee failed to show by a preponderance of evidence that the conditions that would make him eligible for disability benefits prevented him from earning at least 60% of his previous income, Judge Henry M.
