Ten health insurers, including the country’s largest issuers, will sell plans in 2014 through a private health insurance exchange offering employees a choice of plans, human resources consulting firm Mercer announced April 15.
Mercer, a New York-based subsidiary of professional services and insurance brokerage company Marsh & McLennan Cos., said the first group of national, regional, and state carriers that have agreed to partner with its Mercer Marketplace are Aetna Inc., CIGNA Corp., Humana Inc., UnitedHealthcare, Health Net Inc., Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross of California, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, Empire BlueCross BlueShield, ...
