Boston’s Mass General Brigham Inc. will settle a proposed class action challenging its retirement plan fees after failing to secure an immediate appeal of a decision allowing the case to advance.
The parties struck a deal after a full-day mediation session and plan to file details of the agreement for court approval by March 13, they said in a joint status report filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
The lawsuit accuses the hospital of mismanaging its employees’ retirement plan by filling it with expensive investments and allowing service providers to charge excessive administrative fees. ...
