Liberty Mutual Moves to Trial Over Subsidiary’s Pension Dispute

Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. is headed to trial over a lawsuit by pension plan participants seeking past service credit for the time they worked at Golden Eagle Insurance Co. (Moyle v. Liberty Mut. Ret. Benefit Plan, 2017 BL 119075, S.D. Cal., 3:10-cv-02179, 4/11/17).

Federal district Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel April 11 denied in part Liberty’s motion for summary judgment, allowing two of the participants who brought the case to move to trial.
