A federal lawsuit accusing virtual conferencing company Premiere Global Services Inc. of failing to pay severance to workers terminated in a series of 2021 layoffs is moving forward as a class action covering up to 124 people.
The case turns on severance agreements that are “essentially the same” and plan terms that apply to all affected workers, Judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia said Thursday.
