Labor Department Probe Info Must Be Divulged in Stock Plan Suit

Workers suing Envision Management Holding Inc.'s board of directors over their employee stock ownership plan must turn over certain investigative materials provided to them by the US Department of Labor, a federal judge ruled.

There’s no dispute that the work product in question belongs to the department, and the department didn’t object to a magistrate judge’s order requiring its release, Judge Charlotte N. Sweeney said. That “ends the issue,” Sweeney said, because the Envision workers never demonstrated that they have standing to object on the department’s behalf.
