Know Your Judge: Paul Barbadoro

This week in Know Your Judge, we feature Paul J. Barbadoro of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Barbadoro joined the federal bench in 1992 after being nominated by President George H.W. Bush. He served as chief judge from 1997 to 2004. In 2016, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., appointed Barbadoro to serve as chair of the Executive Committee of the Judicial Conference of the U.S.

Last month, Barbadoro sentenced a New Hampshire painting contractor to six months in prison for obstructing a Labor Department wage-and-hour investigation over unpaid overtime. In 2016, he ...
