Know Your Judge: Catherine C. Eagles

This week in Know Your Judge, we feature Catherine C. Eagles of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.

President Barack Obama appointed Eagles in 2010, making her the first woman to serve as judge in that district, according to Alliance for Justice.

Eagles is presiding over two high-profile benefits class actions involving the retirement plans of Duke University and BB&T Corp.
