A dispute between a Teamsters pension fund and two trucking logistics companies over the companies’ contribution obligations won’t be reviewed by the US Supreme Court.
The justices on Monday denied a petition filed by Transervice Logistics Inc. and Zenith Logistics Inc. in their dispute with the Central States, Southeast & Southwest Areas Pension Fund. The companies asked the justices to review the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit’s 2022 decision that they didn’t clearly communicate their intent to terminate an agreement requiring pension contributions.
