Jones Lang LaSalle Wins $1.7 Million Loan Suit Against Broker

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc. won its lawsuit against a real estate broker who left the company’s Denver office without repaying a loan valued at more than $1.7 million.

The broker, who left JLL in 2020 after it acquired commercial real estate company HFF Inc., can’t walk away from repaying the loan because he didn’t have “good reason” for his resignation, Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said July 21.
