IRS’s Office of Professional Responsibility Announces Practitioner Disciplinary Sanctions

The Internal Revenue Service Office of Professional Responsibility has identified practitioners subject to recent disciplinary actions and the specific misconduct involved in each case.

Announcement 2014-13, scheduled for publication March 3 in Internal Revenue Bulletin 2014-10, lists attorneys, certified public accountants, enrolled agents, enrolled actuaries, enrolled retirement plan agents and appraisers—professionals subject to the rules of Circular 230—sanctioned by OPR, along with the effective dates of the disciplinary actions described.
