More than 75% of hospitals are failing to post their negotiated prices in compliance with rules that took effect more than two years ago, according to a report issued Monday.
Slightly less than 25% of the approximately 2,000 large hospital systems analyzed were fully compliant with transparency rules, according to the report from Patient Rights Advocate,org, a group that analyzes hospital price data. None of the hospitals owned by some of the nation’s largest hospital systems—including HCA Healthcare, Tenet Healthcare, and Christus Health—was found to be compliant, the report said.
