Honeywell Again Denied 7th Cir. Look at Pension Suit Transfer

Honeywell International Inc. lost its bid to have the full Seventh Circuit review a decision forcing the aerospace company to litigate over pension benefits in Illinois rather than North Carolina.

Honeywell failed to demonstrate a “clear and indisputable right” to the “extraordinary remedy” it seeks, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said Monday in a one-page order that denied the company’s request for rehearing before either the full slate of Seventh Circuit judges or the three-judge panel that previously weighed the dispute.
