Hess Corp. Workers Seek Class of 3,000 Over 401(k) Plan Funds

Hess Corp. employees challenging the T. Rowe Price target date funds in their 401(k) plan asked a federal judge to certify their lawsuit as a 3,000-person class action.

The workers’ proposed class would cover all the plan’s participants and beneficiaries since February 2018, with plan fiduciaries and their families excluded. Their class certification motion, filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, comes three weeks after Judge James Wesley Hendrix allowed portions of the case to advance.
