Goodman Group Settles COBRA Notice Challenge for $112,400

Senior living community manager Goodman Group Inc. signed a $112,400 class settlement to resolve a lawsuit challenging the notices it sent former workers informing them of their right to continued health coverage, according to settlement papers filed in the Middle District of Florida.

The deal will provide about 3,080 class members with net payments of $17 each, the parties told Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington of the U.S. District Court for the District of Florida in a motion filed Thursday.
