Former Qatar-Based Raytheon Employee Advances Severance Suit

A former Raytheon Technologies Corp. employee who managed business development opportunities in Qatar is moving forward with part of his lawsuit saying he was wrongly denied severance benefits after his 2022 layoff.

A severance committee for Raytheon—now known as RTX Corp.—must defend claims that it breached its fiduciary duties by making false statements and material misrepresentations about the employee’s benefits, Judge Myong J. Joun said Tuesday for the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
