A former pharmacy technician for Sparrow Health System agreed to dismiss her proposed class action accusing the Michigan hospital group of allowing its $553 million retirement plan to pay excessive recordkeeping fees.
The stipulation, filed Feb. 24 in the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan, says the parties have agreed to have the case dismissed without costs or attorneys’ fees being awarded to either party. Attorneys for Sparrow Health and plaintiff Amanda Jones didn’t immediately respond to inquiries about the development.
