Former Aegis Media Americas Inc. employees asked a federal judge to certify their lawsuit over the digital marketing company’s retirement plan as a class action covering thousands of people.
The workers want a class covering all the plan’s participants and beneficiaries between May 2014 and December 2018, with the defendants and their family members excluded. The plan had as many as 11,775 participants during this time, they said in a motion filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
