DuPont, Corteva Restructuring Pension Lawsuit Gets Green Light

DuPont de Nemours Inc. and Corteva Inc. lost their latest attempt to dismiss a proposed class action saying the companies’ recent corporate restructuring improperly blocked workers from receiving the early retirement benefits they’d been promised.

The companies’ most recent motion to dismiss advances several arguments that are “retreads of those the Court addressed last year,” Judge Michael M. Baylson of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a Sept. 1 opinion.
