A cryptocurrency company serving retirement plan investors won a preliminary injunction forcing an asset custodian to restore access to its online platform, in an order by a federal judge in South Dakota.
Judge Karen E. Schreier issued the preliminary injunction against Kingdom Trust Co., which allegedly blocked customers of DigitalIRA.com from accessing their account information online after a breakdown in the companies’ relationship.
Digital IRA is likely to prevail on the merits of its lawsuit claiming interference with business relations, Schreier, of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota, said Nov. 12.
